Home Upcycling Art

In 2025 I have joined the West Toronto Artists Collective and will be participating in the Studio Tour May 31st and June 1st 2025

I work with found materials, gathering pieces, finding fragments, and putting them together in new constellations. I create mosaics made from, and on, discarded objects and discover beauty in large broken mirrors. I weave worn clothing into new patterns for rugs. Through the eye of my camera I look for more patterns, drawn to reflections in windows and water, I am curious about the distortions.

I am passionate about re-imagining the discards of western society, and inviting others to question “ordinary” ways of living in this broken world.  I am developing my own creative voice and supporting others to explore theirs. I encourage people to rest, play and create in my front yard, a patch of urban land I am stewarding to nurture humans, other beings, and the earth. I believe that we can settle our nervous systems, express our own truths and invite more generative ways of seeing and being to enhance our inner and outer worlds.

Watch a 50-minute workshop I gave online to members of Global Rooted Village inviting people to explore their creative voice and consider mosaic as an art form uniquely appropriate to settle nervous systems, and express truths.
