Hi Dorothee – so sorry somehow I missed your comment – how lovely to see you here.

Thank you for your encouragement to keep on spreading the word, not only for compassionate learning practices as I see it, but also for ones that recognize the realities in students’ lives and don’t misname and so add more judgement and trauma!

And you are you still involved in education?

I love the clarity of that quote – would love to track it down – so true and yet often too tempting to stay with judgment or anger rather than opening to heartbreak – especially when it can feel so hard to believe that as educators we can do so little!

That makes think of another story I want to write about – what difference educators can make, by turning towards – soon!
